Mental Health First Aid is for anyone who wants to make our community healthier, safer and more compassionate. It teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. And, it gives you the skills to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem, or experiencing a crisis.

Please note: This is a hybrid event. A portion of this course will occur online. Please include a unique email with each RSVP to receive the course material to qualify for a certificate.
Once you have been enrolled in Mental Health First Aid, you will receive an email from “Mental Health First Aid Team.” Please look for and open this email right away. You must complete evaluations, examinations and pre-work prior to your Instructor-led, in person session. If these tasks are not completed you will be unenrolled from the course and unable to attend the Instructor-led session.
