Healing begins here.
Children and young adults today face a range of challenges and sometimes life is overwhelming. KMHS is here to help. Our skilled clinicians work with infants, children, youth and families every day and offer a full continuum of behavioral services aimed at strengthening resiliency and well-being, mental health, family relationships, and life skills. By customizing care for each person we serve, we help children and youth regain the capacity to achieve their full potential.
Early intervention programs, wraparound services, substance use disorder assessments and treatment, day treatment, and home and school-based services are just a few of the options available within KMHS’ family-centered approach to care. Should inpatient evaluation and treatment be necessary, we operate a 10-bed unit at our Almira Campus for children and adolescents ages 12 to 17.
To get started: If you have Washington Apple Health Insurance and want to enroll in our services, you can walk into our Bremerton office at 5455 Almira Drive NE from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. First visits may take up to two hours. If you are a parent hoping to enroll your child in services, your child must be present for the visit.
If you wish to receive services at our South Kitsap office, please talk to the Access Department about your options.
If you need to be seen outside of regular office hours, please inquire at intake or ask our Call Center, 360-373-5031, what other options are available.

Many people with mental illness also struggle with substance use. We treat both.
